• Authorizes the Secretary of State to conduct a one-time post-election pilot audit of the November 3, 2020, general election to verify the accuracy of reported election results.

• Audit must be conducted between November 30, 2020, and January 31, 2021, in three counties (one each from north, central, and south Alabama) selected by the Secretary of State.

• Audit covers one statewide office and one county office in each of the three selected counties, with the Secretary of State consulting with each county's judge of probate and sheriff on timing and specific offices to audit.

• County expenses for conducting the audit shall be reimbursed from federal funds available to the Secretary of State, or from state funds if federal funds are unavailable.

• Audit results must be made public by posting on the courthouse door and on the Secretary of State's official website.
