• Proposes a constitutional amendment to delete the provision granting probate courts general jurisdiction over orphans' business in Alabama counties.

• Amends Section 6.06 of Amendment 328 (as amended by Amendment 364) of the Alabama Constitution of 1901.

• Probate courts would retain jurisdiction over adoptions, granting letters testamentary and of administration, guardianships, and other jurisdictions provided by law.
