• Alters, rearranges, and extends the boundary lines and corporate limits of the City of Opelika in Lee County, Alabama to annex additional territory.

• Annexes approximately 1,250 acres (1.9531 square miles) of land located in Lee County, with detailed boundary descriptions referencing specific sections, townships, ranges, and landmarks including Widgon Road/Lee Road 171 and U.S. Highway 431/Lafayette Parkway.

• Requires a map showing the proposed annexed territory to be filed in the office of the Judge of Probate in Lee County and made available for public inspection, in compliance with Alabama Code Section 11-42-6(b).
