Commends Mr. Joe Twardy on his successful career and accomplishments in the forestry industry.

Recognizes his graduation from A.G. Parrish High School in Selma and the forestry program at Auburn University in 1972, followed by 12 years of service in the Army National Guard.

Acknowledges his career progression from Assistant Superintendent of Outside Sales at MacMillan Bloedel to Area Forester managing 75,000-80,000 acres, Procurement Manager at Lee Timber Products, and Fiber Supply Manager with Weyerhauser after its 1999 acquisition.

Honors his retirement in 2006, his appointment as President of the Alabama Forestry Association in 2010, and his membership on the Alabama Forestry Commission Board beginning in 2016.

Resolves that the Alabama Legislature recognizes Mr. Twardy's commitment, diligence, and talent with heartiest appreciation and admiration.
