Each county must designate and provide at least one early voting center where registered voters may vote during the 14 days immediately preceding election day.

Early voting centers must be open 4-6 days during the one-week period immediately before election day, with hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on weekdays and Saturdays, and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sundays.

Counties with multiple early voting centers have sole authority to configure boundaries for each center, with the governing body determining which days each center operates.

Any registered voter may vote at the appropriate early voting center in their county, and the bill does not affect existing powers of boards of registrars, judges of probate, or election day voting procedures.

The Secretary of State shall adopt rules for implementation and administration of early voting, effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval.
