• Adds new Section 34-7B-30 authorizing the Alabama Board of Cosmetology and Barbering to issue licenses for mobile salons beginning January 1, 2022.

• Requires applicants for mobile salon licenses to submit an approved application form, pay board-determined fees, and comply with all chapter requirements.

• Mandates the board adopt rules by January 1, 2022 establishing fees and minimum specifications for mobile salon facilities, equipment, environment, supplies, personnel, operation, ownership, and procedures.

• Takes effect on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor.
