Food service establishments with drive-through windows must post inspection report scores below 85 in a conspicuous place on drive-through menu signs.

Establishments must promptly update posted scores on drive-through menu signs upon receipt of new inspection reports from the Alabama Department of Public Health, unless the new score is 85 or higher.

"Food service establishment" is defined as any place, vehicle, or vessel regulated by the Alabama Department of Public Health where food for individual portion service is prepared, stored, held, transported, served, or dispensed.

The Alabama Department of Public Health shall adopt rules for implementing this requirement.

The act becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor.
