Judge of Probate of Escambia County receives an additional expense allowance effective October 1, 2021, with the difference between $88,000 annual salary and current eligible salary, then transitioning to permanent $88,000 annual salary at next term of office.

Sheriff of Escambia County receives an additional expense allowance effective October 1, 2021, with the difference between $96,000 annual salary and current eligible salary, then transitioning to permanent $96,000 annual salary at next term of office.

Tax Assessor and Tax Collector of Escambia County each receive annual salaries of $84,000 effective October 1, 2021, payable in the same manner as other county employees.

Any expense allowance provided by this act shall be treated as salary for retirement purposes.

Act becomes effective immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor.
