AL HB351

Prohibits the Governor from issuing any proclamation, order, rule, or directive under Article 1 of Chapter 9 of Title 31 during the six-month period before any election in Alabama if it would suspend, alter, or interpret provisions of Title 11 or Title 17 in a manner that changes how elections are conducted.

Applies to all gubernatorial emergency powers specified in the Alabama Code during the pre-election period.

Becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor, or upon otherwise becoming law.
