AL HB429

Abolishes the office of constable in each election precinct in Elmore County, effective at the end of the current term of office.

Transfers all assets, money, property, equipment, and supplies belonging to any constable office to the Elmore County Commission for use or disposition as the county commission deems appropriate.

Becomes effective immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor, or upon otherwise becoming law.
