Amends Section 32-6A-1 of the Code of Alabama 1975 to revise the definition of "autocycle" to require a roll cage or roll hoops, a steering wheel or steering mechanism, and a seat belt for each occupant.

Requires autocycle brakes to meet the standards set forth in Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 122.

Specifies that autocycles must have seating that does not require the operator to straddle or sit astride the seat and must be manufactured to comply with applicable federal motorcycle safety standards under 49 C.F.R. Part 571 by a National Highway Transportation Safety Administration-registered manufacturer.

Maintains existing provisions that autocycle operators need only a regular driver's license, are not required to display a Class M motorcycle license, and must comply with seat belt laws.

Becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor.
