HB 613 Summary

• Allows beer transferred between breweries under the same ownership (at least 75% ownership) to be deemed manufactured at the receiving brewery's premises for retail sales purposes.

• Expands the 60,000 barrel production limit calculation to include beer produced by parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, and beer brewed exclusively for the manufacturer.

• Authorizes the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board to designate in manufacturer licenses the specific type or types of alcoholic beverages (beer, wine, or liquor) that each manufacturer produces.

• Takes effect on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor.
