Recognizes Taiwan's COVID-19 response and donation of 90,000 surgical and 20,000 N95 masks to Alabama, plus tens of millions of masks globally.

Notes Taiwan's economic significance as the United States' ninth-largest trading partner supporting an estimated 330,000 U.S. jobs, and as Alabama's 23rd export market supporting an estimated 5,401 Alabama jobs.

Supports signing of a U.S.-Taiwan bilateral trade agreement, establishment of a Taiwan trade office, educational memorandum of understanding promoting Mandarin and English study exchanges, and a reciprocal driver license agreement between Taiwan and Alabama.

Directs transmission of the resolution to the Governor, Secretary of State, and the Director-General of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Atlanta.
