Proclaims April 2021 as Child Abuse Prevention Month in the State of Alabama.

Establishes that child maltreatment can be prevented through community engagement and family support systems in healthy environments.

Recognizes that child abuse and neglect contribute to criminal behavior, substance abuse, health problems such as heart disease and obesity, and risky behaviors like smoking.

Calls upon citizens, community agencies, medical facilities, and businesses to increase participation in efforts to support families and prevent child abuse.

Designates the proclamation on behalf of the Department of Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention, The Children's Trust Fund, The Alabama Department of Human Resources, and Prevent Child Abuse Alabama.
