Donald L. Langham, a labor leader and University of South Alabama Trustee Emeritus, passed away on January 23, 2021, at age 82.

Langham retired as International Vice President and Regional Director of the United States Steel Paper, Chemical and Energy Workers International Union after 40 years of service and negotiated more than 500 contracts and working agreements.

Governors appointed Langham to the University of South Alabama Board of Trustees, Coastal Recovery Commission of Alabama, and as an Advisor to the Alabama State Docks on Public and Employee Relations.

Langham is survived by his wife of 62 years Alice Williamson Langham, daughter Katherine Pope, three grandchildren, and one great-grandson.

The House of Representatives records his death with deep sadness and offers this resolution in tribute to his life and with sympathy to his family.
