Commends Mr. Casey Crumpton for his heroic actions following a tornado in Columbiana, Alabama that destroyed George and Gayle Nix's mobile home at Nix Trailer Park.

Mr. Crumpton discovered the destroyed home, heard calls for help, and dug through debris to locate Mr. Nix, who had broken ribs, neck fractures, a severed neck artery, a punctured lung, and a broken ankle.

Mr. Crumpton's family members and other residents assisted in searching the rubble for Mrs. Nix, who was found with broken ribs and a broken sternum.

Mr. Crumpton fashioned stretchers from two doors and carried both injured individuals to an ambulance when fallen trees and debris prevented paramedics from reaching them.

The House of Representatives dedicates this resolution to Mr. Crumpton in recognition of his quick response, selflessness, and bravery.
