Congratulates Paige Madden of Mobile, Alabama for leading the University of Virginia Women's Swim Team to the first NCAA National Championship in program history.

Madden won three individual events at the National Championship, earned Most Valuable Swimmer honors, and was named ACC Swim and Dive Scholar Athlete of the Year for the second consecutive year.

Madden has won 13 ACC Championships during her career with the Cavaliers and competed as a finalist for the Honda Sport Award for Best Athlete in the Country in Swimming and Diving.

Madden trained for 13 years with CMSA and previously competed in the 2016 Olympic Trials; she is training for the U.S. Olympic Trials scheduled for June 2021 in Omaha, Nebraska.

The Alabama House of Representatives dedicates this resolution to Madden with admiration and extends best wishes for her continued success in future endeavors.
