Commends all individuals who provided service and support for COVID-19 testing and vaccination during the 2021 Alabama Legislative Session.

Approximately 2,500 COVID-19 tests were administered during five "Tunnel Testing" sessions held roughly three weeks apart, with approximately 500 tests per session, at no additional cost to the state.

COVID-19 vaccination was administered to 10,000 state officials, employees, retirees, and dependents within three months through a vaccine clinic in downtown Montgomery, also at no additional cost to the state.

Multiple organizations contributed to the testing and vaccination efforts including Auburn University, Reid State Technical College, Central Alabama Community College, Auburn University at Montgomery, Troy University, Capitol Operations, State Troopers, Alabama Department of Public Health, State Employees' Insurance Board, and State Wellness Center.

Individuals who conducted testing and vaccination services performed these duties in addition to their regular assigned duties and are recognized for their extraordinary effort and assistance.
