Dr. Dorothy Davidson received her undergraduate degree in Mathematics in 1956 and began her career as a Research Mathematician with the United States Air Force Air Staff at the Pentagon.

In 1962, Dr. Davidson joined the United States Patent Office as a Research Mathematician, and in 1965 moved to private industry designing Command and Control and Information Retrieval systems for Department of Defense programs.

In 1996, Dr. Davidson co-founded Davidson Technologies, Incorporated with her husband Dr. Julian Davidson; she assumed leadership of the company after his death in 2013.

Davidson Technologies, Incorporated is a technology and engineering services company located in Huntsville, Alabama that provides engineering, technical, and management solutions for the Nation's defense, aerospace, and commercial sectors.

The House of Representatives highly commends Dr. Dorothy Davidson for her professional achievements and dedicates this resolution to her posthumously with appreciation and admiration.
