30 women founded the Tri-County Organization of Professional Women (TCOPW) on January 5, 2008, with the goal of becoming an interest group of The Links, Incorporated.

The group was approved as an interest group of The Links, Incorporated on October 16, 2009, and charter members were installed on June 12, 2010, by the 14th National President, Gwendolyn B. Lee.

The TCOPW is dedicated to its mission of empowerment, service, and program development, with members characterized by outstanding leadership, diverse expertise, and unlimited abilities.

The House of Representatives commends the Tri-County Organization of Professional Women and honors each member with gratitude and admiration for their committed service.
