Commends David Spillers for his 33-year career in the health care industry and professional achievements.

Recognizes his tenure as Chief Executive Officer of the Huntsville Hospital Health System for 15 years, one of the top five largest publicly owned health systems in the nation.

Highlights major accomplishments including opening Madison Hospital, completing the $175 million Orthopedic and Spine Tower, system expansion with new technologies and services, and leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Acknowledges his service as Chairman of the Alabama Hospital Association, Vice-Chair of Vizient Southeast, and Board member of Wolford College in Naples, Florida.

States that Mr. Spillers and his wife, Cindy, plan to remain in Huntsville with him continuing as a consultant to the hospital system following his retirement.
