• Amends Section 17-3-8, Code of Alabama 1975, to increase the maximum number of days the Lee County board of registrars may meet each fiscal year.

• Removes Lee County from the group of counties limited to 168 working days plus up to 30 additional session days, placing it instead in the category authorized to meet not more than five days each week.

• Applies the five-day-per-week authorization to Lee County alongside Baldwin, Calhoun, Chilton, Madison, Mobile, Montgomery, St. Clair, and Morgan Counties.

• Becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor.
