SB133 Summary

• Removes the requirement that the Legislative Services Agency publish the Alabama Administrative Code in loose-leaf form.

• Requires the Legislative Services Agency to publish the Alabama Administrative Code and Alabama Administrative Monthly on the Internet in a format viewable by the general public at no subscription charge.

• Authorizes each agency's administrative procedure secretary to publish the agency's administrative rules in loose-leaf form, electronic form, or both.

• Maintains the Legislative Services Agency's authority to charge agencies per-page rates and space rates to cover publishing costs for the Alabama Administrative Monthly and Administrative Code.

• Becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor.
