Notes Taiwan's significant economic impact: ninth-largest U.S. trading partner supporting 330,000 American jobs; 23rd export market for Alabama with $327 million investment supporting 5,401 state jobs.

Supports Taiwan easing import restrictions on U.S. pork and beef products beginning January 2021 to grow agricultural exports and economic cooperation.

Directs transmission of resolution to the Governor, Secretary of State, and Director-General of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Atlanta, and supports pursuit of a U.S.-Taiwan bilateral trade agreement, educational exchanges, and reciprocal driver license agreement.
