Commends the Birmingham-based band Three on a String for 50 years of continuous musical performances and their upcoming 50th Anniversary Celebration Show.

Recognizes the band's four members (leader Jerry Ryan, Bobby Horton, Brad Ryan, and Andy Meginniss) for performing over 20,000 shows and entertaining hundreds of thousands of Alabamians with music, comedy, and entertainment.

Acknowledges the band's notable performances including opening for Presidents George H.W. Bush and Ronald Reagan, multiple Alabama Governors, and appearances on nationwide television and in Canada, with a total of half-million miles traveled.

Notes the band's role in originating bluegrass festivals throughout Alabama and their status as an original member of the Alabama Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame.

Recommends that Three on a String be considered for induction into the Alabama Music Hall of Fame.
