Designates May 3-9, 2021, as "National Small Business Week" in Alabama to mark the 58th anniversary of the national observance.

Celebrates the entrepreneurial spirit and economic contributions of small business owners in Alabama and the United States during national pandemic recovery.

Notes that over 396,000 small businesses in Alabama employ 47.5 percent of the state's private sector workforce and account for 99 percent of Alabama businesses.

Acknowledges that small businesses in the United States employ half the workforce, produce one-third of exports, create two out of three new jobs, and include 9.1 percent veteran owners.

Urges citizens to recognize the critical contributions of Alabama's entrepreneurs and small business owners as they grow the state and nation's economy.
