Congratulates the Hewitt-Trussville Girls and Boys Indoor Track Teams for winning AHSAA 7A State Championship titles in the same year for the first time in school history.

Girls Indoor Track Team won their second state title (first in 1999) by half a point over Hoover; Boys Indoor Track Team won their first state title by 4.5 points over Vestavia.

Recognizes Head Coach Tom Esslinger in his first year as head coach, and assistant coaches David Dobbs, Jamey Curlee, Rachel Higginbotham, Mike Deibert, Jihan Loving, and April Howell; notes retiring coach David Dobbs served 30 years as head coach.

Dedicates the resolution to both teams and their coaching staff with admiration and best wishes for future success.
