Places SB46 (Medical Cannabis) at the top of the special order calendar, sponsored by Senator Melson.

SB46 creates a medical cannabis program allowing use for certain medical conditions and establishes a defense against prosecution for marijuana possession.

SB46 adds new sections 20-2A-1 to 20-2A-11, 20-2A-20 to 20-2A-23, 20-2A-30 to 20-2A-36, and 20-2A-50 to 20-2A-68 to Alabama Code, and amends section 13A-7-2.
