Mr. Ronnie Jefferson Betts of Alexander City, Alabama died on September 15, 2021, at the age of 74 years.

Mr. Betts was born on October 5, 1946, and was an active member of Hillabee Baptist Church and Gideons International.

He joined the Alexander City Fire Department in 1974 and retired as Chief in 2008, later working as a funeral service associate and hosting a gospel music radio program.

Survivors include his wife Darlene Betts, three children, eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and extended family members.

The House of Representatives records his death and offers this resolution as tribute to his life with heartfelt sympathy to his family.
