HR19 Summary

• Congratulates Mt. Laurel Elementary School for being recognized as a 2021 National Blue Ribbon School on September 21, 2021.

• Mt. Laurel Elementary was selected among 325 schools nationwide, including five Alabama schools, based on overall academic performance or progress in closing achievement gaps among student subgroups.

• The Blue Ribbon Schools Program, in its 39th year, has bestowed nearly 10,000 awards to more than 9,000 schools for high-level achievement.

• Mt. Laurel Elementary's faculty and staff work collaboratively to provide a safe, nurturing learning environment with the school motto "It's All About the Kids: Every Day, Every Decision, Students First."

• The House of Representatives dedicates this resolution to Mt. Laurel Elementary School's faculty, staff, and students with warmest admiration and regard.
