Provides the Sheriff of Jackson County an additional expense allowance of $15,000 per annum, payable in equal monthly installments from the county general fund, beginning the first day of the month after the act's effective date.

Increases the annual salary of the Sheriff of Jackson County by $15,000 per annum, payable in equal monthly installments from the county general fund, effective upon the expiration of the incumbent sheriff's term.

Repeals the additional expense allowance provision (Section 1) when the salary increase takes effect at the end of the incumbent sheriff's term.

Becomes effective immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor or upon otherwise becoming law.
