Honors the death of Mr. Joe Edward "The Hawk" Fuller, who died on October 8, 2021, at age 78.

Recognizes his military service in the United States Air Force from 1961 to 1965, where he earned his nickname "The Hawk" for rifle range precision.

Celebrates his extensive community leadership including serving two terms as President of the Birmingham Jaycees, City Sales Club, and Mid-Alabama Republican Club, and two terms as Chairman of the Birmingham Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Notes his major professional achievement as Chairman of the Corridor X Task Force, which led to development and completion of the Memphis to Birmingham interstate now known as I-22, with a bridge named in his honor by the Alabama Legislature.

Survived by his wife Vickie Evans Fuller, three daughters, six grandchildren, and extended family; the legislature records his death with deep sadness and offers condolences to his family.
