• Commends Chief Clif Roberts of the Town of Elberta for more than 32 years of dedicated service in law enforcement upon his retirement.

• Chief Roberts began his career in 1989 with the Dallas County Sheriff's Office in the Narcotics Division and was promoted to Investigator.

• He worked for the City of Orange Beach Police Department for nearly two decades in the Patrol and Marine Divisions, rising to the rank of Lieutenant before being selected as Police Chief of Elberta in 2018.

• As Police Chief, he oversaw field operations, patrol, criminal investigations, communications, training programs, parking enforcement, school crossings, and records management; he was instrumental in forming the Citizens Police Academy and the town's safe room construction.

• He held leadership roles in professional and community associations including the Children's Policy Council of Alabama and served as a Board Member of the Alabama Peace Officers Association.
