Honors Judge Julian B. "Buddy" Brackin, Jr. for 31 years of distinguished service on the Judicial Bench for the City of Orange Beach, Alabama, upon his retirement from the Municipal Judgeship.

Judge Brackin graduated from Troy University in 1972 and obtained his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1976, along with a Master's Degree in Public Administration.

Served as Municipal Judge for Orange Beach since 1980 and Robertsdale since 1994, and previously served as Municipal Judge for Elberta for 18 years and Summerdale for 7 years.

Served as past president of the Baldwin County Bar Association and former member of the Baldwin Judiciary Selection Committee; serves on the Standing Committee on Practice and Procedure and is registered on the Alabama State Court Mediator Roster.

The Alabama House of Representatives and Senate commend Judge Brackin for his tireless dedication and exceptional abilities in service to Orange Beach and Baldwin County municipalities.
