Commends Jacob Aiden Sharpe of Boy Scout Troop 8 in Montgomery, Alabama, for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest rank in the Boy Scouts of America.

Jacob completed 46 merit badges, camped over 91 nights, earned the mile swim award four times, held eight leadership positions, and served on four camp staffs since beginning with Webelos Scouting in 2013.

Jacob attends Tallassee High School with a 4.3 grade point average, is a member of Future Farmers of America and Scholars Bowl Team, and holds certifications in lifeguarding and scuba diving with plans to attend Auburn University for Computer Engineering.

For his Eagle Scout Project during the pandemic, Jacob completed a classroom face-lift for his Spanish teacher, including removing old materials, painting the room with a special design, and deep cleaning floors and cabinets.

The House of Representatives of Alabama offers this resolution in recognition of Jacob's outstanding achievement and trustworthiness, self-discipline, and good citizenship.
