Mourns the death of United States Navy Commander Lee Allen Hallman of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, who died on October 3, 2021, at age 95

Commander Hallman served in the U.S. Navy for more than 30 years during World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War, retiring with the rank of Commander

After retiring from the Navy, he earned a Master's Degree in Consumer Sciences from the University of Alabama at age 82 and served as Tuscaloosa County License Commissioner for 23 years

He was a founder of Tuscaloosa Veterans Park and founding member of American Legion Post 34, which won the American Legion National Championship in 1967

The Legislature records his death with deep sadness and offers condolences to his survivors, including his wife of 37 years, three children, five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren
