Eliminates pension benefit reductions for retired Jefferson County General Retirement System members who are reemployed by the county two or more years after severance from employment.

Maintains the existing reduction in pension benefits if a retired member is reemployed less than two years after severance, with the pension benefit returning to its pre-reemployment amount after two or more years of continued reemployment.

Prevents retired members who are reemployed from accruing additional pension benefits during the period of reemployment, regardless of the time elapsed since severance.

Repeals Section 45-37-123.105 of the Alabama Code, which previously provided for offsets of retirement or disability benefits including workers' compensation for reemployed retired members.

Applies prospectively to retired system members reemployed on or after the effective date of the act, with the act becoming effective immediately upon passage and gubernatorial approval.
