Proposes a constitutional amendment to Pickens County authorizing ad valorem tax proceeds distributed to volunteer fire departments to be used for emergency medical services in addition to fire protection purposes.

Amendment applies to taxes collected after ratification and modifies existing Amendment No. 649 (as amended by Amendment No. 765) of the Alabama Constitution.

Allows use of funds for purchase of medical equipment, rescue equipment, medical supplies, and delivery of emergency medical services by volunteer fire departments.

Election on the proposed amendment scheduled for the general election in 2022 in accordance with Alabama constitutional procedures.
