• Chair's salary equals the base salary of the Blount County Revenue Commissioner, paid in the same manner as the revenue commissioner's salary.

• Chair presides over county commission meetings and votes only in case of a tie vote among district commissioners; judge of probate's salary remains unaffected during their current term.
