Provide the Sheriff of Jackson County an additional expense allowance of $15,000 per annum, payable in equal monthly installments from the county general fund, commencing the first day of the month after the act becomes effective.

Increase the annual salary of the Sheriff of Jackson County by $15,000 per annum, payable in equal monthly installments from the county general fund, beginning with the expiration of the incumbent sheriff's term.

Repeal the temporary expense allowance provision upon implementation of the permanent salary increase for the next sheriff.

The act takes effect immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor or upon becoming law.
