Amends Section 45-2-60 of the Alabama Code to establish an annual salary of $52,000 for the Baldwin County coroner, paid in equal monthly installments from the county general fund.

Provides an additional expense allowance not to exceed $600 per month to be determined by the county governing body and paid from county general funds.

Entitles the coroner to the same cost of living increase percentage granted to other public officials under Act 2000-108, with increases during the current term converted to expense allowances that become salary in the next term.

Authorizes the coroner to participate in health insurance benefits and retirement benefits on the same basis as other county employees.

Becomes effective January 16, 2023, following passage and approval by the Governor.
