Alters, rearranges, and extends the boundary lines and corporate limits of the Town of Cherokee Ridge in Marshall County by annexing two tracts of land.

Tract 1 contains 2.66 acres located in the northeast quarter and northwest quarter of the southwest quarter of Section 16, Township 7 South, Range 1 East, bounded by U.S. Highway 231 and Allen Cross Road.

Tract 2 contains 0.96 acres located in the southwest quarter of the northwest quarter of Section 16, Township 7 South, Range 1 East, near U.S. Highway 231.

A map showing the annexed territory is on file in the office of the Judge of Probate in Marshall County and is available for public inspection per Section 11-42-6(b) of the Code of Alabama 1975.

The act becomes effective on the first day of the third month following its passage and approval by the Governor.
