• Applies only to Conecuh County and allows the county commission to select a chair by majority vote to serve for the remainder of the current term.

• Provides the county commission chair with a monthly expense allowance of $750, payable from the county general fund and in addition to any existing salary.

• The expense allowance and selection provisions expire at the end of the current term of the county commission chair.

• The act becomes effective immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor and is repealed upon the end of the current commission chair's term.
