Commends Dr. Larry Haynes, principal of Oak Mountain Middle School, for being named Alabama's 2022 Middle School Principal of the Year on February 1, 2022.

Dr. Haynes has 35 years of education experience, including 20 years in administrative roles, with 18 years as principal at Oak Mountain Middle School.

Earned a Master's Degree in Education from University of Montevallo (1986), Education Specialist Degree from University of Montevallo (1995), and Doctorate in Education from University of Alabama at Birmingham (2017).

Will receive an office makeover from Interior Elements and recognition at the CLAS Convention awards luncheon at the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex in June 2022.

House adopted the resolution on March 3, 2022, and the Senate adopted it on March 15, 2022.
