Triple Negative Breast Cancer accounts for 15-30 percent of all diagnosed invasive breast cancer cases in the United States, with more than 53,700 cases diagnosed in 2019.

This form of breast cancer grows quickly, spreads earlier, and has limited treatment options since cancer cells lack three key receptors that typical breast cancer medications target.

Metastatic Triple Negative Breast Cancer patients have less than 30 percent chance of surviving more than five years, with disproportionately higher mortality rates among Black women, those with Medicaid or Medicare, and lower socio-economic populations.

Promotes education and awareness about Triple Negative Breast Cancer disparities and calls for improved access to screening, diagnostic testing, early detection, and equitable health care delivery.
