Jacksonville High School Golden Eagles Boys Varsity Basketball Team achieved a 28-5 record during the 2021-2022 season and won their first State Championship Title in Boys Basketball.

Team made their first appearance in the Final 4 since 2004 and became 2021-2022 Regular Season Area Champions (6-0), 4A Area 10 Champions, and 4A Northeast Regional Tournament Champions.

Team scored 2,570 points to opponents' 1,819 points, averaging 77.9 points per game, made 50 percent of all shots taken, and finished the season on a 12-game win streak.

Two junior players scored over 1,000 career points; multiple team members earned All-Tournament honors and MVP awards across various competitions.

House of Representatives congratulates the team and coaches Anthony Kingston and Cordell Hunt for their impressive accomplishments and dedicates the resolution to them.
