The Alabama House of Representatives commends Representative Lynn Greer for his distinguished legislative service to House District 2 (Lauderdale and Limestone Counties) and the State of Alabama.

Representative Greer served three separate periods in the Alabama State House: 1974 to 1981, 2002 to 2006, and continuously since 2010.

Greer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Auburn University and attended graduate school at The University of Alabama in Huntsville majoring in Computer Science; he owns Greer Construction and Greer Management, LLC.

He served as Chairperson of the Transportation, Utilities, and Infrastructure Committee and Vice Chairperson of the Limestone County Legislation Committee, and held positions on the Alabama Public Service Commission, Ways and Means General Fund Committee, Shoals Economic Development Authority, and Elk River Development Agency.

A copy of the resolution will be presented to Representative Greer with the House's highest esteem and appreciation for his invaluable contributions over the years.
