Commends Representative Mike Jones on his retirement from the Alabama House of Representatives at the conclusion of the 2019-2022 quadrennium.

Recognizes Jones's educational background (Andalusia High School, Lurleen B. Wallace State Junior College, Birmingham-Southern College, University of Alabama School of Law) and prior service on Andalusia city council from 2000-2008, including as Mayor Pro Tempore from 2004-2008.

Highlights Jones's legislative achievements including his election to the House in 2010, five years as Chair of the House Rules Committee, service on the Energy Council and Alabama Law Institute, and his role chairing the House Judiciary Committee where he presided over the first impeachment investigation of a constitutional officer in Alabama in over 100 years.

Notes Jones's current work as a practicing attorney and municipal court judge in Andalusia, his service as a deacon at First Baptist Church, and his family including his wife Kathy Harper Jones and daughters Olivia and Sophia.
