Honors and commends Representative Wes Allen for his distinguished service to the Alabama House of Representatives representing House District 89 (Dale and Pike Counties) for 4 years since his election in November 2018.

Allen earned a Bachelor's Degree from University of Alabama and Master's Degree from Troy University; played wide receiver for Alabama under coaches Gene Stallings and Mike Dubose; served as Pike County Probate Judge from 2009-2018.

Serves as Vice Chair of the Constitution, Campaigns, and Elections Committee and on the Judiciary Committee and Urban and Rural Development Committee.

Part of the first father-son duo serving simultaneously in the Alabama Legislature, with his father Gerald Allen serving as a State Senator from Tuscaloosa.

Active in community service including memberships in Pike County Friends of the National Rifle Association, Alabama Farmer's Federation, Pike County Cattleman's Association, National Wild Turkey Federation, and various other civic organizations.
