Commends the Oneonta High School Football Team for its winning 2022 season in the Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 4A Division.

Team finished with a 13-2 record and an 11-game winning streak, winning the area division and regional division to become Class 4A North Champions and Class 4A Region 6 Champions.

Team made its 10th State Playoff appearance and currently holds the second most victories in Alabama high school football history.

Season was led by Head Coach Phil Phillips and assistant coaches J.D. Whited, Nic Riley, David Elrod, John Micah Whited, Jalen Johnson, Adam Tekulve, Austin Owens, Jonathan Butler, Jake Thomas, and Avery Reid.

House of Representatives extends best wishes and success to the team in all future endeavors, noting 16 outstanding seniors are graduating.
